From broken leg and not walking for 3 months to surfing and lifting weights (at 50 years old)...
From a back injury 30 years ago, scared to lift greater than 3 lbs, to lifting over 100 lbs. with EASE (at 62 years old)...
From unable to walk due to a heel injury to running, jumping, and playing baseball without pain...
If you're reading this, you probably did a google search, heard about me via a physician, friend, or heard me rambling on social media about how we should all be lifting and how it's important to build resiliency in our bodies!
I started this business to help active people and athletes who...
From all of the people who come to me, each of them say the same thing, "I love that you are a doctor of physical therapy and personal trainer AND a powerlifter, and a former collegiate athlete."
They have chosen to come to me because I understand treating pain, but I also understand training and working out.
I've been an athlete my entire life, starting with T-Ball when I was four years old to playing baseball and football in college to now competing in powerlifting competitions and most recently, running 5k's, 10k's and playing lots of golf.
If you scroll down to the bottom of this page you'll see a rather flattering picture of me in my natural habitat and in a singlet (or unitard depending on who you ask) lifting 617 lbs.
I'm not messing around, I will help you address your pain concerns and get strong.
I have helped hundreds of people with all sorts of muscle, tendon, bone, nerve, and ligament issues.
Just check out what people are saying with my 50+ (and growing) google reviews...
The bread and butter is the WORK that we will put in together. Below is a rather boring and generic list of things that I treat :) ...
Yes, that's quite the list of "stuff!" The reality is, most of these conditions can be treated incredibly effectively with our brand of rehab and strength training.
If you join our team, you're going to be a part of something incredible.
You get one on one personalized care (no being passed on to an aide), a detailed and goal driven plan, accountability through the entire process, no monotony or impersonalization, a commitment to excellence, and tons of other perks including (based on which plan you choose) specialized diet plans, 24/7 access via text and email, and several other special perks.
If that doesn't sound out of this world to you... then you may be in the wrong place.
We certainly aren't for everyone and we don't pretend we can help everyone.
If you only want a quick fix, aren't committed to the process, and aren't interested in learning how to create long term change in your body, then we definitely are not for you. We wish you well.
HOWEVER... if you are willing to put in the work, are willing to commit to the process, and truly want to learn how to create long term change, prevent future injury, and maximize your health, well-being, and performance, then YES, WE WANT TO WORK WITH YOU.

Looking forward to hearing from you and witnessing you reach your ultimate goals and gains.
Yours in strength,
A few more details about me; I compete in powerlifting, played football and baseball in college, successfully completed one mountaineering trip (barely), Shoe Dog by Phil Knight (a memoir about Nike) is my all time favorite book and captures my own ethos, and few things get me as excited as presenting to groups of people eager to learn about the science of pain. I've lived all over the country, completing my B.Sc degree of Exercise Science in Arkansas at Harding University and my Doctor of Physical Therapy education at Columbia University in New York City.
