KNEE PAIN. WHAT IS THE BEST THING TO DO ABOUT IT?
Meniscal tears, osteoarthritis, patellar tendinopathy, fat pad irritation, ITB syndrome, runners knee, jumpers knee, all of these different diagnoses are things you might have heard of in regards to your knee pain. The good news is that all of these, for the most part, are able to be treated conservatively (no surgery) through rehab with a physical therapist.
Surgery is certainly necessary in some cases but these are often the exception and not the rule. A course of physical therapy is usually the best approach to address any sort of knee pain. We currently have a page about meniscal tears that you can click here to read.
