United States health insurance is great, am I right?
Just kidding. I should have written this post on April 1.
I was just wondering how many people are only staying at their current job because of the health insurance benefits?
It’s probably a lot.
In any case, the US is great at specialized surgeries and treatments for complex illnesses and injuries but we are pretty terrible when it comes to the prevention of non-communicable (illnesses you can’t transmit to others) diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and even dementia and Alzheimers.
What’s the point of me saying all this?
You have to make a choice to take care of yourself as no one’s going to do it for you. We all have to make this choice.
